Easter celebrations are over — the traditions, the religious ceremonies, the decorations, the egg hunts, the dress-up, the family gatherings, the greeting cards, the candy. So what do you do after Easter? Here are two choices:
1) You can send the resurrected Jesus to jail — out of sight, out of mind. You can lock Him up — box Him in — with your agenda, your plans, your program, your will, your choices. You can ignore the risen Jesus and live your life as if He is dead and buried — at least until next Easter. Or . . .
2) You can hit the Easter trail and daily follow and obey the risen Christ, no matter what the cost. You can listen to Him and then do whatever He tells you to.
If you jail Jesus in an after-Easter box, you are in for yet another year of the same ole same ole. How’s that sound to you?
However, if you aggressively follow the resurrection road, the living Jesus will lead you into an amazing year of excitement, meaning, purpose and adventure? (If you don’t believe me, read about it in the Book of Acts where the earliest believers follow the Easter trail.)
Follow the resurrection road with us at The Salvation Army Berry Street. We meet with no program or agenda. We turn our gatherings over to the resurrected Jesus and let Him directly lead our meetings. The results? Amazing!
Come see for yourself: Sundays @ 10:45 am. & Thursdays @ 6:30 pm. — 225 Berry St., Nashville, 37207.
