You Will Answer To God

Why is it such a popular thing to ignore and/or deny God nowadays?  Is it because of advancements in science?  Hardly.  Science cannot prove or disprove God.

In a world gone awry with whims and cravings; self-interest and surrender to various genetic tendencies, almost no one wants accountability.  Even God’s righteous judgment has been judged to be politically incorrect.

To quote Shawn Boonstra:  “Maybe the denial of God has noting to do with science at all, but with a desperate attempt to keep Him out of our lives.”

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I co-lead a non-traditional expression of the body of Christ in Nashville based on open participation and Spirit-led sharing. We long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia" that is available in Kindle & paperback @ http://amzn.to/2nCr5dP

  1. Or maybe its the lack of evidence provided for religious claims?

  2. ELIZABETH S. says:

YES, INDEED! I WILL ANSWER TO GOD NOT TO MAN!!! THANK YOU

  3. Well that was pretty arrogant. What right do you have to command me to answer to God? Science is able to disprove huge chunks of the Bible and develop an explanation of the universe without any mention of God. Your last quote makes no sense at all. I’m an atheist but I’m not desperate to keep God out, he doesn’t exist so there’s nothing to let in.

  4. ELIZABETH S. says:

NO, GOD SAYS IT IS HE WHO JUDGES! READ THE BIBLE!
