What Do 21st Century Christians Need Most?

What do 21st Century Christians need most
* teaching about Christ or
* the life of Christ flowing through us?

We have tried hearing lots and lots and lots of Christian teaching.  Perhaps it’s time that we let Christ directly live in and control our lives and our church meetings.

Perhaps we should, moment by moment, listen to the voice of God and do whatever He tells us to do.

Perhaps we should allow Christ to actually direct our church meetings rather than having them led from a platform and a pulpit by human leaders.  Would that work?

Yes.  When we turn over the reigns of a church meeting over to God, He will take them and direct the meeting, Himself.  If you have never experienced this before, come and see for yourself at The Salvation Army Berry Street, 225 Berry St., Nashville, 37207 on Sunday mornings at 10:45.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I co-lead a non-traditional expression of the body of Christ in Nashville based on open participation and Spirit-led sharing. We long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia" that is available in Kindle & paperback @ http://amzn.to/2nCr5dP
