Intuitional Living (Quotes About Intuition)

Intuition is an important tool for human beings to learn to use in their lives.  Albert Einstein said:  ““I believe in intuitions and inspirations.”  Madeleine L’Engle put it this way:  “Don’t try to comprehend with your mind. Your minds are very limited. Use your intuition.”

The living, resurrected Jesus Christ wants to release His Spirit-led intuition in your heart. “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” –Jeremiah 33:3

Perhaps church meetings should be based on Spirit-led intuitional promptings rather than on man-led institutional programs.  I like this quote:  “When we come together corporately, our gatherings, or meetings, should be unpredictable, like the wind. ‘What is the outcome then, brethren? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation.’ 1.Cor.14:26. . . Every week God has things to say to His people. We no longer suffer canned services, canned preaching, or canned worship. It becomes exciting. Miracles begin to happen, signs and wonders are present, people are ministering and activated. They are no longer passive, just observing, but involved and activated.” –David Walters

Here are a few more quotations about intuition:

“Intuition is seeing with the soul.” –Dean Koontz

“Our bodies have five senses: touch, smell, taste, sight, hearing. But not to be overlooked are the senses of our souls: intuition, peace, foresight, trust, empathy. The differences between people lie in their use of these senses; most people don’t know anything about the inner senses while a few people rely on them just as they rely on their physical senses, and in fact probably even more.”  –C. Joybell C.

“Intuition is a sense of knowing how to act spontaneously, without needing to know why.”  –Sylvia Clare

“We all have an inner voice, our personal whisper . . . feel and sense it with an open heart.”  –C.J. Heck

”Before you speak, it is necessary for you to listen, for God speaks in the silence of the heart.”  –Mother Teresa

“Trusting our intuition often saves us from disaster.”  –Anne Wilson Schaef

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I co-lead a non-traditional expression of the body of Christ in Nashville based on open participation and Spirit-led sharing. We long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia" that is available in Kindle & paperback @ http://amzn.to/2nCr5dP
