What color is the dress — oops I mean flag?
Let’s address the question. Take a close look. Different people see this flag differently.
Some of the colors (and images) in this pic are just reflections onto the flag — the white spots for instance. Those colors are not actually a part of the flag.
For some this flag is just a piece of cloth as common as an ordinary dress. However, for others this flag is a reflection of God’s glory.
This flag is The Salvation Army Flag. In reality it has only 3 colors: red, yellow, and blue (plus the black lettering that reads “BLOOD & FIRE”).
The blue stands for an upright lifestyle of utmost integrity.
The red represents the way to begin to live such a lifestyle — the blood of Jesus that sets us free from our misery, self-destruction, discouragement, defeat, and negativity; and obtains forgiveness for us so that we can start over with a clean slate, a clean heart, and a clear conscience.
The yellow stands for the supernatural power available to human beings to consistently live a transformed lifestyle of love, joy, inner peace, and victory over wrong thinking, wrong speaking, and wrongdoing — the power and real presence of the Holy Spirit.
