Which Jesus will help when hope is hiding?

When hope is hiding and hurt is having its way in your heart, hold on to Jesus and He will hold on to you! But which Jesus?

* The historical Jesus (lived a long time ago)
* The religious Jesus (Sunday sermon material)
* The financial Jesus (a way to cash out)
* The cultural Jesus (always accepting and approving)
* The living, resurrected Jesus (still transforming lives in the 21st Century) “Jesus, who was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.” –Acts 25:19
–“For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.” –2 Corinthians 11:14

Faith is not a formula to figure out with your mental faculties.
Faith is God’s inner fire that fills you with passion to daily follow and obey the living, resurrected Jesus.

Watch the living, resurrected Jesus in action as He speaks through everyday people — every Sunday morning at 10:45 at 225 Berry St., Nashville, Tennessee, 37207. Check it out!

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I co-lead a non-traditional expression of the body of Christ in Nashville based on open participation and Spirit-led sharing. We long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia" that is available in Kindle & paperback @ http://amzn.to/2nCr5dP
