Grace replaces the old with the new

Grace makes new

It it doesn’t
Replace your place,
It’s not grace.
If it doesn’t
Replace your pace,
It’s not grace.
If it doesn’t
Replace your face,
It’s not grace.
A place beyond
Distant from God
To intimacy with God.
A pace beyond
Racing after accomplishment,
Chasing after things,
To walking in spiritual peace.
A face beyond
Sad and stressed
To serene and blessed.
Got grace?

2-Corinthians-5-17

Grace is a famous word from the New Testament. There is another word from the New Testament, however, that most people have never heard of–ekklesia. I call it the lost word of the Bible. Check it out here.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I co-lead a non-traditional expression of the body of Christ in Nashville based on open participation and Spirit-led sharing. We long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia" that is available in Kindle & paperback @ http://amzn.to/2nCr5dP
