About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. I have written two books: Mindrobics: How To Be Happy For The Rest Of Your Life and Your Sperm Won--Experiencing Your Value As A Championship Human Being. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I lead a non-traditional church in Nashville based on open participation and Spirit-led sharing. We long to see the power and passion of the early church come to life in our time.

  1. Steve, I recently purchased your book. Excellent!!! You have managed to articulate very clearly things that have been crystallizing in my heart and mind for years. Your explanation of ekklesia is exactly on target. I have felt for years that ekklesia should include decision-making as one of it primary purposes of existence (Eph 3:10). You articulate a vision for how that can become a reality in the lives of a community.

I would love to strike up a conversation with you. I hope to visit you in Nashville sometome in the near future.

    Blessings
    Dennis Brown

Would love to meet you, Dennis. If you are ever in Nashville, lets get together. If on a Sunday, come and see ekklesia in action at The Salvation Army Berry Street. Thanks for the encouraging words about my book. Would you do me a favor and write a review on Amazon for me? I’d really appreciate it.
